Men's Soccer Set to Host Fanshawe

Men's Soccer Set to Host Fanshawe

The road has not been kind to the Niagara College men's (2-2, 5th West) soccer program during their 2014 campaign.  After falling 4-0 to Sheridan (3-0), the Knights' road record is now 0-2, while permitting 10 goals in those two away games.

These athletes know home is where the heart is however, because at Youngs SportPlex, they remain unbeaten.  This Saturday, September 20th, they play host to the Fanshawe Falcons (1-3, 7th West) and will be looking to keep that streak alive.

The Falcons head into Saturday's matchup with just one win but their record does not tell the whole story. Asked about Fanshawe's losing record so far this season, Knights Coach Frank DeChellis said, "I don't trust that.  They never disappoint and I still expect them to find a way to make the post season."

Kickoff is set for 4:00pm and admission is free to all men's and women's soccer games.
