On Thursday October 2^nd, the Niagara College men's (4-3, 4^th West) soccer program will be hosting the Mohawk Mountaineers (0-4-2, 8^th West).  The Knights will be putting their perfect home record on the line as they try to keep a third place finish within reach.

Third place in the OCAA will guarantee the Knights at least one home game during the 2014 playoffs.  To claim third, the Knights must defeat the Mountaineers and the St. Clair Saints (4-0-2, 3^rd West) must lose/draw to Humber (4-0-2, 2^nd West) and Sheridan (6-0-1, 1^st West) this weekend.

The Mountaineers enter this game are coming off a 4-0 loss to Humber College on Saturday. Despite their winless record, the Knights will not be taking their opponents lightly. "We know not to be fooled by anybody's record this season", said second year head coach Frank DeChellis. "Mohawk still has something to play for with two games left and we want to be in a position to steal third place. No game has been easy and we expect more of the same on Thursday."
