PREVIEW: Knights look to stay hot against Redeemer

PREVIEW: Knights look to stay hot against Redeemer

After a commanding 3-0 victory over the Lambton Lions (0-5, 6th OCAA West), the Niagara Knights men's soccer program  (3-1, 2nd OCAA West) look to extend their winning streak to four games as they head into Ancaster Tuesday night to face off against the Redeemer Royals (1-2-1, 5th OCAA West).

Tuesday's game looks to be a special one, as third year striker Carlos Williams (St. Catharines, Ont.) enters the game with the opportunity to move past former Knights superstar Matt Miedema for the all-time goal scoring lead. Williams and Miedema are currently tied for the title with an impressive 10 goals.

This is a crucial game for the Knights, who currently sit 4 points behind the OCAA west division leading Fanshawe Falcons with one game in hand. With a win in Tuesday night's matchup, the Knights will sit just one point behind the Falcons.

The game between the Knights and Royals is located on the North Field at the Redeemer college campus on Tuesday, September 26th. Kickoff is at 8pm.
