The Niagara Knights women's basketball program (6-6, 5th OCAA West) fell 71-58 on the road against the Mohawk Mountaineers (8-3, 4th OCAA West).

A slow started proved to be the difference as the Knights found themselves down by 11 after the first quarter and were unable to recover. The Knights would eventually trail by as many as 23 before runs of 10-0 in the first half and 12-1 in the second half would help close the gap. Despite the loss the Knights has three players reach double-digits in scoring. Courtney McPherson (Welland) notched a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds in the contest. Kaitlyn McPherson (Welland) added 11 points, while Brooke-Lyn Murdoch (Welland) contributed 10.
