Walker will lineup as an outside hitter for the Knights and currently competes as a member of the Ancaster Royals and Burlington Blaze girls’ volleyball teams.
Tuesday, April 8th saw Volleyball Canada’s High Performance Program announce that Niagara College women’s volleyball head coach Joey Martins has been selected as an assistant coach for the Canadian National women’s program for the summer of 2014.
The Niagara College women’s volleyball program bolstered its recruiting class on Friday with the addition of versatile libero/outside hitter Vaska Hamanova.
McLay will join the women's program for the upcoming season, after spending the previous four years competing as a member of the Brock University Badgers.
Saturday, February 15th saw the Niagara College women’s volleyball program’s season come to an end as the Knights were defeated 3-0 by the Trent University Excalibur.
Saturday, January 25th will see all four active Niagara College intercollegiate sport programs travel to London to take on the Fanshawe College Falcons.
Despite turning in one of their best efforts of the 2013-14 season, the Niagara College women’s volleyball program was unable to come away with a victory on Sunday, as the CCAA’s #3 ranked Humber Hawks (13-0) edged out the Knights three sets to two.
Wednesday, December 4th saw the Niagara College women’s volleyball program lose a hard fought five-set match to the Conestoga Condors. The loss drops the Knights to 4-5 heading into the mid-season break.
