Wednesday, January 29th will see the Niagara College men's and women's volleyball programs host a pair of crucial OCAA West Division matches at the Welland Campus Athletic Centre.
First-serve for the women's match is set for 6:00pm. The Royals (9-4) currently sit in third place in the West while the Knights sit in a tie for seventh, two points back of the sixth and final playoff position. A win will see the team move into sole possession of sixth place in the clustered OCAA West playoff race.
On the men's side, the match will get underway at 8:00pm. The matchup will see two of the strongest teams in the OCAA square off for the second time this season. The CCAA's #9 ranked Knights defeated the Royals three sets to one on November 20th. The Knights however, have been battling injuries since the mid-season break and have lost their last three matches.
Admission to Niagara College Varsity home games is free for all Niagara College Students, and those under the age of 18. For those unable to be in attendance, all Knights games are live broadcasted at www.ocaatv.com.
