Women's Volleyball to Face Conestoga

Women's Volleyball to Face Conestoga

The Niagara College women's volleyball program will wrap up 2013 on Wednesday night when the team faces the Conestoga Condors.

Heading into the match, the Knights sit in fifth place in the competitive OCAA West Division with a record of 4-4. The Condors (3-5) sit just two points behind the Knights, and will be looking for a victory to keep pace in the OCAA playoff race.

Heading into the match-up Niagara College women's volleyball head coach Joey Martins commented "this is a big game, and we are looking to secure a hard fought victory. It's important to finish 2013 on a high note."

Last week saw the debut of one of the Knights' key off-season recruits in first-year outside hitter Sami Bailey. Bailey has been out of the lineup since the pre-season with an injury, but with the Cambridge native on the court, the Knights will add another offensive wrinkle to their attack.

First-serve for Wednesday's match is set for 6:00pm.
