PREVIEW: Fourth ranked Knights look to get back in win column

Sunday, October 4th at 3:15pm.
North Field - Home of the Eagles.

Knights Road Record: 1-1-0
Eagles Home Record:  0-2-1

Currently ranked the fourth best program in the OCAA, the Niagara College men's soccer (2-2-1, 3rd Central) program will be looking to get back into the win column Sunday afternoon when they head on the road to face the University of Toronto-Mississauga Eagles (1-3-1, 6th Central).

The Eagles are playing in their inaugural season and this will be the first ever matchup between these two programs.  Moving forward, these programs will now meet twice a yeaar, alternating venues each matchup.

The Eagles will enter this contest having lost two close matches against GTA opponents.  The Eagles fell to Humber at home 3-1, then two days later lost to Sheridan on the road 2-0.

After five OCAA games, the Eagles have been outscored by their opponents 8-5 and each goal has been scored by a different player.

The Knights are coming off a 4-0 loss to the CCAA's second ranked program, the Humber Hawks (5-0-0, 1st Central).  The Hawks win the single season matchup and improve to 11-1 all-time against the Knights.

Keith Makubuya (St. Catharines) and Andy Hein (Omemee) lead the way for the Knights with two goals each this season, good enough for 12th place in the OCAA thus far.
