On Friday, October 9th, the Niagara College men's soccer (3-2-1, 3rd Central) program will be eyeing the season series sweep against the OCAA's fifth ranked team, the Sheridan Bruins (4-2-0, 2nd Central).

The Knights are 1-10 all-time against the Bruins, picking up their only win this season on the road in a 2-0 victory.  Niagara had goals from former Toronto FC standout Keith Makubuya (St. Catharines) and first-year forward Ife Lotanna Maduka (Nigeria).  Sam Robson (Milton) got the first start of his career and earned the clean sheet.  The upset earned the Knights OCAA team of the week honours.

The Bruins have won three straight games and have outscored their opponents 5-0 during that span.  The Knights are coming off a win against UTM (1-4-1, 5th Central) and have only lost one game in their last five contests.

Both teams are ranked second in the division in scoring (7), however the Bruins have allowed six less goals than the Knights (9-3).
