RECAP: Victory over Condors moves Knights to 5-0

The Niagara Knights women's volleyball team (5-0, 1st OCAA West) made good on their bid to remain undefeated in the young OCAA season. The Knights defeated the visiting Conestoga Condors (0-5, 9th OCAA West) 3-0 (25-14, 25-26, 25-16) on Thursday night.

It was a well balanced approach for Niagara throughout the match's three sets. Jordan Koslowski (Hamilton) led the way for the Knights with seven kills, two services aces, and one block for 10 total points. Bailey Davis (Georgetown), who primarily serves as the Knights setter, recorded five kills and two service aces for seven points on the night.

Sahara Aburaneh (Nelson, BC) and Amy Bultje (Chatham) also recorded five kills apiece for Niagara. Bailey Davis also led the Knights in assist with 12, while rookie Mackenzie Bailey (Stoney Creek) chipped in 11 of her own.

With their perfect record still in tact, the Knights well next welcome the undefeated, number three nationally ranked team on Wednesday, November 23. It will be the first matchup between the two teams since the Knights were defeated by the Hawks in the 2016 OCAA Women's Volleyball gold medal match.
