The Niagara College men's (5-9, 7^th West) basketball program have four games remaining in the 2014-15 OCAA basketball season.  Top six teams from the OCAA West will make the playoffs and as of right now, the Knights are on the outside looking in. 

Trailing Sheridan (7-8, 6^th West) by four points in the standings, the Knights will host the red-hot Redeemer Royals (9-5, 4^th West) on Friday, February 6, looking to keep their playoff hopes alive. 

The Royals won nine consecutive games before losing 88-76 on January 30, to the second place Mohawk Mountaineers (13-2).  Offensively, Redeemer is led by fifth year forward Calvin Turnbull (Burlington), who is averaging 18.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. 

After falling short to Fanshawe (12-3, 3^rd West) in double overtime, the Knights have won two straight games, eager to make that final playoff push.  First year forward Delroy Grandison (Kingston, JA) led Niagara in those two wins, finishing with a combined 38 points and 15 rebounds. 

On December 4, Redeemer beat Niagara 73-64 behind the dominant performance of Turnbull, who recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds.  Not to be out done was Grandison, who had 24 and 12 boards in the loss for Niagara.

Redeemer will see a different Niagara roster Friday night however, with six new Knights joining the program in 2015.  Returning to the Knights is fourth year forward Marako Lundy (Nassau), who is averaging 12 points and five rebounds over four games.  His last action for Niagara College came during the 2012-13 season, where he averaged 14.5 points and five rebounds.
