The Niagara Knights men's volleyball program (10-3, 2^nd OCAA West) fell to the Fanshawe Falcons (11-2, 1^st OCAA West) in a key matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights came out slow and were unable to recover in the 3-0 (20-25, 26-28, 19-25) loss to the Falcons. Nathan Snippe (St. Anns) was one of the lone bright spots for the Knights in the contest, recording a match-high 19 points and six digs. Cole Jordan (London) added 14 points on the strength of 12 kills.

The loss drops the Knights into a three way tie for second place in the OCAA West division with the Redeemer Royals 10-3, 2^nd OCAA West) and Mohawk Mountaineers (10-3, 2^nd OCAA West). The Knights defeated Mohawk in both matchups this year, and won their only match thus far against the Royals.

After four matches over a 10-day stretch Niagara will now enjoy a five day rest before visiting Redeemer on January 29. The Knights will return to the friendly confines of the Welland Campus Athletic Centre on Saturday, February 6^th as they welcome the Cambrian Shield (0-13, 11^th OCAA West) and Sunday, February 7^th against the Boreal Vipères (2-11, 10^th OCAA West).
