March 2, 2020...WELLAND -The Niagara College Knights men's volleyball team has signed their first recruit for the 2020-2021 season with local product, Max Hurtubise.
Hurtubise stands at 6'4" and is a graduate of Jean Vanier High School. Enrolled in the college's paramedic program next fall, head coach Tommy Sloan is excited to get Hurtubise's name inked on paper.
"Max brings excellent size and athleticism to our program with an incredible amount of potential in addition to being able to compete at this level right away. We are thrilled to be able to add some very talented local players this season and we look forward to what Max will be able to do at the OCAA level."
Hurtubise will join suit up for the blue and white next season after spending this past year as a middle/right side with the under 18 Niagara Rapids Volleyball Club.
