Knights Men's Basketball Nets Vaughan Prep PG Reggie Williams

May 21st, 2020... WELLAND - The Niagara Knights men's basketball program has signed Vaughan Prep point-guard Reggie Williams for the 2020-2021 season.

Williams, a native of Toronto, stands at six-foot-one and attended Richmond Collegiate in Toronto before transferring to Vaughan Prep.

Williams will join fellow recruit, Rahim Douglas-Charles, in the Broadcast, Radio, Television and Film program at Niagara in the Fall. While he has ambitions to lead the Knights to a winning record on the court, Williams career aspirations also shine through when asked why he chose Niagara College.

"I want to be the best basketball player I can be for this team," said Williams. "I chose Niagara College so I can accomplish that, and pursue my love for media production off the court. While I am developing my skills on the court, I'll also be developing my skills and a videographer in the BRTF program."

Head coach Phil Mosley shares Williams excitement for the Knights goals on the court.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Reggie to our men's basketball program," said Mosley. "We believe that he will be an impact player at the guard position. His court vision, outside shooting and ability to get to the rim will make him a versatile player at both the point and off guard positions."
