Knights at Royals. December 4. 6:00pm

 With only one game left before the break, the Niagara College women's basketball (4-4, 6^th West) program will be headed on the road to play the Redeemer Royals (1-7, 8^th West).  After losing two straight, the Knights will be looking to start 2015 with a winning percentage over .500.

The Royals are coming off a 68-59 loss to Sheridan (6-3, 4^th West) and are only two games removed from their 28 point win over the Sault Cougars (1-8, 10^th West). 

The 2013-14 regular season series was swept by Niagara College with fourth year forward Miranda Ross (St. Catharines) pacing the way with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

The Royals feature a guard who is third in the province in scoring, Lindsay Moffatt (Hamilton).  The five-foot-six concurrent education major is averaging 18.5 points per game, showing the majority of Redeemer's offence goes through her.  Niagara will counter with their big forward Miranda Ross, who is first in the province averaging two blocks per game.  Miranda's shot blocking abilities will make it difficult for Redeemer to get any clear shots at the bucket.

Niagara College is averaging almost 24 rebounds more per game than Redeemer, due in large part to Welland native Courtney McPherson.  The five-foot-eleven forward is averaging 10.1 rebounds per game, good for third in the province.
