PREVIEW: Women's volleyball look to extended winning streak

Sporting a record of 2-0 the Niagara College women's volleyball program will look to extend their unbeaten streak to three when the team travels to Kitchener to take on the Conestoga Condors on Sunday, November 1st. The Knights currently sit tied for second place in the OCAA West and are one of three remaining undefeated teams, the others being the Humber Hawks (2-0) and Mohawk Mountaineers (1-0).

Team captain Devon Lowes has been a force for the Knights during the opening two matches. The towering middle blocker from Oakville has 20 points, including dominant 14 point performance in just three sets against the St. Clair Saints. Lowes is in her second year with the Knights and is currently enrolled in the Niagara College police foundations program.

Watch out for high flying outside hitter Rachel Rivers (Cambridge) who is playing in her home town backyard. The six-foot-one outside hitter brings the Knights a dynamic all-around game, sitting second on the team in both scoring (19 points) and digs (19).

First serve for Sunday's matchup is set for 1:00pm at Conestoga's Doon campus.
