PREVIEW: No. 2 ranked Niagara College women's volleyball set for weekend matches

The Niagara College women's volleyball program (3-0) will look to extend their unbeaten streak to five, when the team travels to Sudbury this weekend for a pair of matches versus the Cambrian Golden Shield and Boreal Vipers.

Saturday will see Niagara face the 2-1 Golden Shield at 6:00pm. Cambrian has opened the 2015-16 strong, earning three-set victories over Boreal and Mohawk. Their lone blemish came via a hard fought five-set loss to the 4-1 Fanshawe Falcons. The Knights are 4-2 all-time versus their Sudbury counterparts.

Sunday, will see the Knights take on the Boreal Vipers. Niagara has yet to lose a set in four all-time matches to the Vipers.

Watch out for the continued growth of rookie outside hitter Jordan Koslowski. The dynamic Hamilton native is averaging 2.4 points-per-set to start her post-secondary career. Koslowski sits second on the Knights in kills, and has increased her points total in each of her team's first three matches.

The Knights captured the OCAA bronze medal in 2014-15, and are currently ranked both provincially (#2) and nationally (#11).
