Undefeated men's Volleyball to Face Conestoga

The Niagara College men's volleyball program will look to end 2013 on a high note on Wednesday night when the team travels to Kitchener to take on the Conestoga Condors.

The Knights are undefeated with a record of 8-0 on the season, and are currently ranked second in the CCAA's weekly national rankings. The Knights also sit in first place in the OCAA West Division, two points in front of the second-place Humber Hawks.

The Knights are off to their best start to a season since 2000-01, and will look to extend their current winning streak to 14 games including the 2013 pre-season.

The Knights offense will be led by outside hitters Jeff Scott (Georgetown) and Daniel Groenveld (Welland). Monday saw Scott named Niagara College Athlete of the Week, while Groenveld was named CCAA Athlete of the Month.

First serve for Wednesday's matchup is set for 8:00pm.
