Cole Jordan Joins Men's Volleyball Program

The Niagara College men's volleyball program is pleased to announce the addition of impact outside hitter Cole Jordan. Jordan, will join fellow London Volleyball Club alumni Will Walton on the Knights roster beginning in September.

Jordan was formally introduced to the Knights' family during a meet and greet at Niagara College's Welland campus athletic centre.

The six-foot-four Jordan possesses an imposing physical frame, and will bring the Knights added size and strength from the leftside position.

"Cole is an impact player" said Niagara College men's volleyball head coach Nathan Groenveld. "He is a tremendous athlete and his addition brings our program fantastic size and skill on the outside."

Jordan is the third player to commit to the Knights this summer joining LVC Alum Will Walton, and close friend Jeremy Williams as members of the 2014 Niagara College men's volleyball recruiting class.

"Choosing Niagara College came down to three things for me; great friends, a great business program and a great volleyball team" said Jordan. He continued "I'm looking to keep school a priority while improving as a player, and developing a chemistry with the team."

Jordan is a graduate of Oakridge Secondary School in London, Ontario. He is also fully aware of what it takes to be a member of a winning volleyball program, having captured the 2013 OVA Provincial Championship with the LVC Fire.

Coach Groenveld continued "Cole is the type of player that we feel will make an immediate impact in the OCAA. We are really looking forward to seeing him in a Knights uniform."
